This collection contains photographs, slides, correspondence, and files that document the life and career of German-American guided missle expert Berhard Tessmann. Materials trace Tessmann's work from Peenemunde to Ft. Bliss and eventually Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Alabama.

It consists of papers written by Braun, photographs, course materials for Braun’s space history classes, and documents on international space history collected by Braun. International space history included is Russian, German, and Chinese.

The Heinz-Hermann Koelle Collection (.5 linear ft.) includes one archival box which, includes 15 folders. Subjects covered within this collection include the idea of building a lunar base, and the benefits of space exploration for the U.S., and advancements in space vehicles and capabilities. The files also include information on Koelle’s academic career.
