President John F. Kennedy visited the Marshall Space Flight Center on May 18, 1963. This folder has three 8x10 photographs. One shows the seated dignataries for the President's remarks. Dr. Stuhlinger is on the front row near the right side of the photograph.

Dr. Christian Bernard, the pioneer heart surgeon, visited the MSFC on February 20. 1970. These are three 8x10 photographs of Dr. Bernard with MSFC officials, including Dr. Stuhlinger.

This 8x10 photograph shows Major General John Bruce Medaris, Dr. Wernher von Braun, Eberhard Rees, [seated] Willi A. Mrazek, Dr. Walter Haeussermann and Dr. Stuhlinger [standing] with a model of the Explorer I satellite. These individuals at ABMA were primarily responsible for the launch of Explorer I, the first US satellite.

The 31 boxes in this collection contain a variety of subjects and media. The collection encompasses Dr. Stuhlinger's work at NASA as well as housing a number of familial and personal effects such as photographs and diaries.
