The Johnson Environmental and Energy Center is presently engaged in a user test and demonstration project with an electric automobile suited for an urban commuter car (COMCAR). The UAH is undertaking Project COMCAR with the intent of making a substantial contribution to the national efforts of (a) saving oil and (b) reducing air pollution.
