Biographical / Historical

Apollo 11 was launched on July 16, 1969. Like some of its predecessors, the Saturn V rocket escaped Earth's gravity and entered lunar orbit, but unlike anything before it, Apollo 11 actually landed on the moon on July 20.

Apollo 11 was the culmination of decades of research, and by putting the first men on the moon, it made hopes and dreams reality. July 20, 2019 was the 50th anniversary of one giant leap for mankind.
