Scope (from Introduction): "This book deals principally with aircraft gasoline engines and their accessories, such as carburetors, magnetos, starters, etc., the idea being to familiarize the student, the mechanic, and the public in general, who are mechanically inclined, with the construction and the principle of operation of the modern gasoline engine designed for aircraft work.

Many will want to know more about maintenance of such engines, and with this in mind the subjects of disassembly, inspection, and assembly have been included."

Softcover bound book, 9.5” height x 7” depth x 1.25" thickness (428 pages, including flyleafs). Covers are flexible cardstock covered with faux leather. Printed on semi-glossy paper. Includes black & white (and a few one-color) photographs, drawings, charts and tables.

Note: Overall good condition with minor speckling on covers and minor staining on front and back flyleafs.
