Cabinet Card photo taken by J. H. Simkins. On the front is a photo of two young white women, likely in their early 20s. Both are wearing opposite colored dresses, the woman on the left wearing a black dress with white collar and buttons, the woman on the right wearing a white dress with black buttons and a black ribbon around her neck, both holding their respective colored hats in their hands. The photo has been colored, likely by an amateur or someone without proper training to paint photos, as evidenced by the bleeding of color, to give the women blue accessories, along with a red and blue colored tile floor. On the back is an advertisement for J. H. Simking of Salem, New Jersey. Below this is a 2-cent S. Inter. Rev. stamp wth the face of George Washington that has been crossed out, likely to prevent it from being used again.
