Abstract

In the letter, Cecilia discusses how her family is in New Albany while she remains in Tuscaloosa with her sister, Nette. She goes on to talk about how much she misses being away and wishes to come to Cincinnati to visit Mag and her family. She also talks about a party being planned for the Alabama female institute, and how school is going. Then she discusses her views on marriage, saying how she wants to marry for love, and listing qualities she is looking for in a husband. She ends the letter, talking about what she is grateful for in her life, and wishing the best to her friend, Mag, and her family.
