Abstract
"Dear Mr. Hudson: I took my examination as a private pilot on March 28, 1953, with Mr. Ernie Blackwell in Decatur, Ala. Unfortunately, he could not issue a license to me since my certificate as a student pilot does not show that I took successfully my written examination. I would appreciate it very much if you could enter on the attached student pilot certificate the certification that I took my written examination with you on November 12, 1952, in Huntsville, Ala. Could you then send the papers directly to Mr. Ernie Blackwell, Airport, Decatur, Alabama? Thanking you very much in advance, I am Yours very sincerely"
