The description beneath the drawing is in German: "Vor millionen von Jahren bildeten sich die Berge unserer Alb aus den Ablagerungen des Wrmeers. Am 12. April 1983 zerstorten Naturgewalten den Albtrauf am HIrschkopf in Mossingen. Am 15. April 1983 wird in einer Ausstellung im Foyer des Rathauses Mossingen die VISION von VERGANGENHEIT, GEGENWART und ZUKUNFT gezeigt."

Translation: Millions of years ago, the mountains of our Alb formed from the deposits of the Wrmeer. On April 12, 1983, natural forces destroyed the Albtrauf on the Hirschkopf in Mossingen. On April 15, 1983, the VISION of PAST, PRESENT and FUTURE is shown in an exhibition in the foyer of Mossingen town hall.
