Abstract

The case in question involves John Muich, or Muick (The handwriting is hard to make out), administrator of Jeremiah W. Walker vs. Benjamin Jocley (This may be a misspelling of the last name). In his deposition Cabert is asked if he is acquainted with the firm, Stoker and Purdow. It appears as though the defendant had set up a deal between Walker and the firm. At the bottom of the document, it gives the name of the judge residing over the case, B. Matthews. THis takes place in the circuit court in Madison County, HUntsville, Ala.
