Abstract

On the front of the envelope, there is a note that says, "R.S. (Robert Spragins) filed July 28/52. The return label is from Eastport, Miss. There is a note on the back of the envelope that says, "Opened by Order of Court 30th August 1852...John B. Eldridge..."

This envelope is very fragile and is already partially torn, so handle with care.
