There is a written description inside the cover of the book, which says, "This book was flown in space aboard the space shuttle Columbia during the STS-65 mission which flew between July 8-23, 1994, completing 236 orbits of the earth and travelling some 6 million miles--Oli Thomas, Mission Specialist #4 STS-65/IML-2."
