Biographical / Historical

A sketch done by the German engineer Werner Brähne in March 1944 showing corpses of prisoners lying in the Tunnel as the factory nears completion. In the background, a Kapo fills in the “list of the dead.” (KZ-Gedenkstätte Mittelbau-Dora, Nordhausen)
