Biographical / Historical
The French artist Maurice de La Pintiére, a prisoner at Dora as of November 1943, completed this pen-and-ink drawing in June 1945 after his return to France. The drawing shows the arduous conditions for Dora prisoners during the excavation of the external entrance. (Private collection)
