Biographical / Historical

The SS Hauptscharführer Erwin Busta, nicknamed “Horse head,” was a brutal criminal who terrorized the prisoners at Dora. He escaped arrest in 1945 and appeared to have joined the Foreign Legion after the war. The West German government tried him between 1967 and 1970. He was convicted and sentenced to prison.
