A notebook documenting the process that brought five members from Israel's child protection agency, Ashalim, to the National Symposium on Child Abuse at the Children's Advocacy Center. Margaret Anne Goldsmith's speech welcoming the group at a reception at Temple B'nai Shalom outlines the events that resulted in the Israeli delegates attending the symposium.

Notebook includes: Newspaper articles about the Israelis attending the symposium, information packets, business cards, a brochure on Ashalim, summary report on the delegates' symposium participation, reception at the Temple B'nai Shalom, representatives from Israel attended again in 2006 and 2007 after which they started their own symposium and invited speakers from the US that they had met at the CAC symposium.
