General
The first letter is dated 1943 and is from Betty Kahn (a sister of Leo Schiffman) who is in Cincinnati and who wants to bring her daughter from Palestine to America. LBG responds that he will sign the affidavit. Copies of the affidavit are included. Betty acts as the responsible party for her daughter and completes the form which LBG has facilitated. The last letter is dated December 1944 from Lbg to Betty thanking her for a box of candy she sent for Christmas.
