General

Ella Lichtenstein begings writing LBG. She is a daughter of Johanna Marx. Ella is married and has a daughter. Her husband, who also writes, lost his job due to the measures taken by the Nazis. LBG sends the necessary forms to the consulate in Germany. Affidavits require deposit of $2,000 each and confirmed ship passage. Affidavits are not available per his letter from Congressman Sparkman. The last document in this file is a letter from Mrs. Rosetta Meyer from NYC who knew the Lichtensteins and is requeting help for them. This letter is dated November 2, 1941.
