General
LBG first hears of Meinhard Marx through the Hebrew Sheltering and Immigrant Aid Society of America that Meinhard wishes to immigrate to America. Meinhard writes and introduces himself and his family, his wife and his eight-year-old daughter. Meinhard is in a concentration camp and that Otto and his sister, Ella, are in a hospital wounded by the Nazis. After the war, Meinhard and his family survived and are again requesting to immigrate. It is unknown how Meinhard managed to survive the war and what happened to him. He was in Germany in 1948.
