General

Reference to the building of two new residences on the same block as the "Handsome mansion of Oscar Goldsmith." MAG thinks that the date is wrong and that these houses were built after 1900 for Oscar and Betty Goldsmith's two children and their families: Lawrence B. Goldsmith and Theresa Grosser. The houses were sold and torn down during the 1960s and an office building was built on the two lots.
