The article notes that the merchants in downtown Huntsville closed their shops during the hours of his funeral. Also it was noted that he was president of Temple B'nai Sholom and the Chairman of the Temple's Building Committee.
The articles include a long history on Isaac and mention his exceptional philanthropy including leaving an entire water system to his native Hoppstadten, Germany, and money to build a Jewish school for the Jewish community of Hoppstadten.
