General

Given to MAG by Claire Wolfsheimer, wife of Ernest Wolfsheimer. The family tree begins with Schiffman patriarch, Lob Schiffman (1802-1884), and lists his 6 children: Solomon, Daniel, Joseph, Simon, Regina, and Caroline. Ernest Wolfsheimer was married to Claire Schiffman, a daughter of Gustav, son of Lob's son, Joseph. The Wolfsheimers were brought to America by Claire's brother, Leo Schiffman. Leo's uncle, Isaac (also a son of Joseph) brought Leo to America as a young boy. Leo brought his mother and siblings (including Claire) to America during the 1930s.
