General

About estate and the papers donated to the Huntsville-Madison County Public Library including a great deal of information on the Bernstein-Herstein Building and the Herstein heirs covering three decades following Rosa's death. Note: MAG's grandfather was finally able to purchase the building from the Herstein heirs for I. Schiffman & Co. He bequeathed to MAG's father and MAG his 1/2 interest. MAG acquired her father's 1/4 interest in an exchange. After her father's death, she purchased I. Schiffman & Co.'s 1/2 interest. Subsequently she gave the building to her children's trust. The building was then sold.
