General
Southeast corner of East Side Square. There is a sign on the windows above the southernmost bay that reads, "Smith and Herstein," indicating that Robert was in business with a Mr. Smith during the 1860. The year 1860 (1866) is written at the bottom of the photograph. In 1895 the building was renovated by the Southern Savings and Loan Association in Romanesque Revival style.
