On the front cover is a daguerreotype picture (colorized) of Morris Bernstein as a young man. The entire issue is devoted to the Jewish communities of Alabama. Page 6 includes information on the Huntsville Jewish community. The original daguerreotype picture was donated to the National Museum of American Jewish History in 2011.
